hehe, that's an interesting spin. It doesn't matter one bit that he came back. He'll not be given the chance to come back against the more adept fighters at 175 as they will see blood and end him there and then.

Soon enough....after next Saturday Diaconu will be Dawsons mandatory.....he will have 120 days to fight him or be stripped rightfully by the WBC....Dawson will be ruined, mangled, beaten and finished:fire

He is a small guy fighting tall guys. The telegraphed loopy right is how he bridges the gap, coming inside. If that was his only shot, of course, he'd be crap. But unlike most of Dawson's opponents so far, he follows up that precise and effective loopy right with a very good left hook and another one or two hard, precise shots, whilst bobbing up and down inside, where, because of his lack of height, he's not easy to hit by a tall man. Because his attack is explosive and sustained through a couple of movements, it is effective. And no...Diaconu ain't no club fghter. Just check his amateur record. About his footwork - he plods forward but once he sets up an attack, he moves fast and economically. Of course, Dawson's great footwork and great counterpunching, especially to the body, not to mention his great jab make him a clear favourite. But that doesn't mean that Diaconu's style don't make him dangerous against Dawson. It's as simple as that, really.

  5. Dawson *should* go for one of these:

Tarver - Who called him out - would kick hiss ass

Johnson rematch - Yeah right :S

Woods - Too similar to Johnson for Dawson

Diancou - Who would lay him out.

I think Dawson will avoid these guys like the plague which begs the question why do so many people pin their hopes on this guy? I just don't understand it. It's like they hate Taver because he beat the golden boy Roy knowing Tarver would take this guy.

Getting a few wins, a belt then losig but being given a gift does not make you a great fighter! HOW MANY reference tapes did Dawson have of Johnson in order to forumate a stratgy and he still couldn't pull it off? Shesh!

All you do on every post you make is spin everything around Calzaghe...Keep in mind that Mr Dawson tried to lure your hero into the ring. He opted to fight a 43 year old grandpa.

I sure hope you dont hurt yourself on April 20th:hey

  7. I didn't spin this around Calzaghe show me one post, link it, where I said I wanted to see Dawson v Joe?

I've always maintaned Dawson wasn't the God he was made out to be. i see Dawson like I see Peter with people blinded by hopes and media attention rather than looking at the fighter for what he is.
