He's only 20? Who cares, he won't amount to anything anytime soon and likely ever unless his punch resistence and defence significantly improves. People backing this guy as a future international star even after the Limond debacle is just beyond me.

If the kid were a prodigy, he'd have steamrolled through a low to mid journeyman like Limond(who also has NO punch)very easily.

Then he has a series of fights against more British Domestic cream puff fighters that may have good looking records, but on the international scene would be sub-500 fighters and then a bout with St Clair, a well chosen, undersized, 'decent' 130 pound fighter with no punch. Of course Khan would win handily.

For Khan to prove that he's even remotely a force at 135, he'd have to defeat a true to form international gate keeper with a punch, a man like Miguel Huerta, but they will steer clear of such challenges, as Khan would get knocked the **** out most likely. They'll find a way to grab him a title against some shot former name with nothing left, or another British Domestic that has nothing to bring to the table, as per usual.

The only thing I can say for Khan is that he's the best of the British Domestics.

However, with his predictable output, average timing, bad chin, leaky defence and poor footwork, how do you see him doing against a real, hard punching international fighter?

The train will end and this isn't even getting into the top, the likes of Diaz, Campbell, Casamayor.... because it's not necessary to be mentioned, the people who think Khan can hang with those guys are imbeciles.

Khan is a novelty sell, they are getting every little bit of money they can out of him prior to his inevitable downfall in the sub-world class level.

    ..............

So please stop mentioning this fraud in the same sentence as true to form future elite level prospects in any respect.

The only thing that is non-sense is your continous hate for him. The boys an Olympian, let him have his shot at glory. More likely than most.

So far I've seen pretty much everyone agree that Khan would lose to Campbell, so this little rant is unnecessary

I think Khan has potential, but he a long long long way to go before he's world class. If he steps up to world class anytime before he's 26 I can see him getting beat.

I imagine he will take on someone like Campbell or Casamayor and get truly schooled before long.

However, after that, I think he will re-group and come back to win titles at 140lbs and 147lbs. His defence and chin is pretty poor, but after another 20 fights and a few beatings I reckon they will improve.

Trust me, this guy has another 10 years as a top level boxer left, he is far from the finished article. Dont judge him too quickly.

    26?

The rate at which he's stepping up, he'll fight a world-class fighter by the end of the year or by spring/summer next year for sure, I think. Win or lose, he's going for it!

    khan = hype job

the guy has very limited boxing skills, and can't take a punch.

Gamboa would destroy him at the press conference, no need for a ring.

Huge fan of his and never claimed he'll destroy Pacquiao or any of that ridiculous nonsense. He's an excellent fighter that brings excitement to boxing, how can you hate/dislike someone like that?, not to forget that he's not planning to spend his entire career fighting chumps in England and securing an undefeated record then moving when everyone is expired and old, no he plans to bring some action in America as soon as possible.
