Amir Khan is already the best boxer at Lightweight. He should fight Guzman, Nate, Casa, Juan Diaz and Pac then after those string of KO's he can move straight up to welter and pick off those guys.
i'l explain for you, the guy can't throw one punch without leaving himself wide open, he has very poor accuracy and you will notice this when he gets in the ring with someone who has upperbody mavement. He goes in and throws like a wild man, he has very poor footwork, and his head movement is even worse. Most of you have not seen this yet but wait until he gets in the ring with a decent fighter who can put him on the back foot and then that decent fighter will make him look amateurish.
He does. Just because a fighter is overhyped and cashes in too much on his fame and good luck doesn't mean he is a bad fighter.:verysad
Yeah he abit over hyped Frank Warren is his promoter so will get coverage, but I dont think he as crap as most people make out. Olypic Silver Medalist Ameteur win over Mario Kinderlin Beaten - Limond, Earl, Lawton, St Claire in 17 fights fighting Gomez next only 21 years old I think people are too harsh on him, he wants to fight in America he pushing for bigger fights. If in 2 years he still fighting at this level then fair enough but until then why not enjoy his fights (whether you wanna see him knocked out or not)
He is definitely a bit of a hype job (a bit overrated and a bit oversold) but that doesn't mean he is a bad fighter. For a 21 year-old, I think he is doing very well and he is certainly progressing well; I've seen him improve a lot very quickly. I want to see him against a puncher though, but they probably want him to work on his defence first. I think that's the right thing to go about building your fighter, to be honest; no need to throw him to the wolves before he's ready.
the only thing that he has going for his is his age, he has been brainwashed in thinking that he has a chance of being a champion. Let him get in the ring with a decent fighter, i'm not talking about the elite's just someone who can punch and go forward then all of you will feel stupid for falling for the hype.
the question is who have you seen his improve against, he has fought very poor opposition, ok he is 21 but if amir is going to say that he is going to be the youngest british champion then he should put up or shut up. anyone can improve fighting fighters like he has, fighters that offer nothing going forward, and when going back are easy to hit with no movement at all. If he wants to impress then get in the ring with a fighter.
