taking into account their most recent results and how i think it will influence their popularity. 1. Floyd 2. Pac 3. Wlad 4. Vitali 5. JMM 6. Cotto 7. Mosley 8. Hopkins 9. Pavlik 10. Paul Williams 5-8 was really hard
I agree with all except paul williams. He can't draw flies to ****. I'd replace him at #10 with David Haye
not bad, i'd move jmm down a few notches, cotto should be #5 i think, i'd have b-hop at #6, mosley at #7, pavlik at #8, jmm at #9 and either haye or someone like chavez jr or juanma at #10
JMM coming off 2 career best victories and is carrying mexico entirely on his shoulders. MExicans are boxing junkies. thats my reasoning.
hard to judge. i think vitali vs arreola will do better sales than floyd vs marquez. does this mean they are bigger draws than floyd even though the level of skill will be cosiderably higher in floyds fight? i dont think there are any consistent rankings at the moment. any top fighter can outsell another depending on the opponent and the circumstance.
Floyed has very few casual fans how he can he be number 1. I would put Pac above him at the moment. If Tyson made a come back he would probably cream everyone in the list.
Hatton has the most loyal fanbase in boxing. If he doesn't decide to hang em up, he's still top 5 material.
Uh? Your kidding right? Sorry but Floyd cant draw worth a damn. He just has happened to fight those people who can... based on actual bodies in seats and not whom they fight. 1.) Wlad -60K people last fight ! 2.) Kessler - again with the outrages #s. Plus we ALL want to see him ... 2.) PAC - AFTER Hatton not before. Cuase Hatton fans probably are now Pac fans... 3.) Cotto - Who dosen't like Cotto's style? Well I end it there. Everyone else is gonna depend on whom they fight. DLH is the ALL TIME KING. And Hatton is the king for loyal fans. Who else has ever had 14K people fly half way around the world to see them fight? In a bad economy at that...
