People say this like its some sort of inside wisdom of the sport. What the **** are you supposed to throw against conventional fighters? A round house spinning drop kick? A straight right hand is just as effective against a orthodox fighter and I personally don't find it easier to land a straight right on a south paw unless they are coming forward. I am sick of people talking about it as if it is a secret weapon against a south paw. Its a ****ing right hand!
Haha I hear you man, I've always felt the same. The real advice should be to square up more and use the right as more of a jab than a power shot, use the left hook as your main power shot.
