First up, I think Kovalev won. But I also think it was a close, good fight. While the decision was bad, it wasn't a robbery, it was debatable. What's not debatable is these are two of the best pfp in the world, and we should be thrilled that two such top, undefeated guys fought in there prime, and combined to make a good, competitive fight. There will be a rematch. Until then, get over it. Both fighters proved themselves as far as I'm concerned.
Ward is a fighter, I respect that. He could use a bit more humility in victory, but who says Kovalev would have been more humble had he gotten the nod.
Ward was impressive. I was so sure he was going to quit on his stool after the second round. I dunno. Just the look in his eyes when he was taking some of those jabs reminded me of the look a younger brother has that's getting bullied by an older brother. But, he TOTALLY proved me wrong. I hate Ward's style but I can't deny his craftiness and his heart.
