Enriko Moses Itauma vs. Jermaine Franklin, Jr.

I'm not entirely convinced either but hes the best looking HW prospect by far and offensively he is pretty good. Verdict is still out on how he does when facing some hardship in the ring for the first time.

 

I suspected that until he beat Whyte which was a great win personally. But yeah, Itauma has too many questions to answer still - its refreshing to hear that you're not massively buying Itauma's hype.

 

Franklin lasts the distance here, if Joshua couldn't blow him away then I don't see how Itauma manages it. I also see him getting frustrated at the halfway point if Franklin is still in there. I'm going for a wide UD.

Just the type of fight Ituama should be taking to get some rounds in. I'll go with Itauma UD. Hopefully they throw him in another fight quickly, his slow schedule is excruciating

 

Itauma will be better than Joshua at some point, I think, especially as an all-around fighter, but he doesn't have that same one-punch KO cannon that Joshua had. Franklin has proven he doesn't have questionable whiskers, and he's not a slouch either. He's going to give Itauma rounds, which is what he needs. If he beats him in 2/3 rounds, I'll be astonished and impressed.
