"Wow, David Haye's been talking a lot of boll*cks," he said. "Boll*cks is the only way I can describe it. So far he's been boxing ponies. There was that Danish plonker and then his fight against Jean-Marc Mormeck. He suggested Mormeck was a harder fighter than Enzo Maccarinelli but that's rubbish. This content is protected Calzaghe believes Haye's bravado stems from fear ahead of the bout and that the Londoner's self-styled status as "wonderkid" was way off the mark. This content is protected "Enzo will box him out this weekend." Pundits suggest the two sluggers are unlikely to go the distance at the old Millennium Dome but suggestions that the fight could result in a slug-fest were immediately dismissed by Maccarinelli's camp. "This fight will be won by the guy who uses his brain the best," said Calzaghe. "Brains'll win it - Enzo's friends." Maccarinelli has clearly progressed as a boxer since entering Calzaghe's gym in 2006 but his trainer refuses to take any credit for the fighter's progress, regardless of how well he boxes on Sunday morning. He added: "I don't take credit. His dad should take credit for doing a great job on him from day one. I've tried to improve him and use my style to help his but it's not up to me to say whether that's worked well. What I can say is that he seems to like what I've done and he enjoys the gym. And I'm confident he'll enjoy the weekend even more." Do you agree with Enzo Calzaghe? Will Enzo Maccarinelli teach David Haye a lesson or will the "Hayemaker" win this cruiserweight clash? Its old news. But Haye is fighting again soon in his biggest challenge yet. Its important to remind ourselves - Haye has beaten no-one like Klitschko and Mormeck and co - is not good enough evidence Haye will win. Haye is just not that special - and for those who think Haye will beat Klitschko - could be getting their hopes up way to much. This could be a mismatch and Haye out of his depth.
"He's good but claims that he's like Joe Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins or Roy Jones Jr are rubbish," Joe Calzaghe isn't like Bernard Hopkins or Roy Jones! Silly Enzo.
