why would this idiot tempt fate like this? i'm sure the chuckle brothers forgotten brother has seen the likes of benn-g/man and remembers his compatriot johnny owen who was killed at a young age challenging for a world title. i don't mind fighters/trainers/promoters bigging themselves up and talking about how they'll beat their opponents but when you start talking about ending another mans career then you've crossed the line, this **** happens and when you start talking about it in such a dismissive manner then you have zero respect for the sport and the warriors who have lost their health in the ring. enzo c's behaviour is beginning to **** me off massively.
It's all bravado from the defeated team. They know that it's a massive, massive upset if Maccarinelli makes it through the first round without being KOed and just want to hype it as much as possible beforehand.
I wish cakzaghe sr wouldn't say some of the things he does and I've noticed it's really started happening since he has worked more with other fighters than Joe. I think he's just trying to instil as much confidence in them as possible whereas he's never doubted Joe so hasn't felt the need to open his mouth as much. It's funny watching the press conferences as you can sense Warren's unease whenever Enzo opens his mouth!
jOE should have a talk with his daddy and tell him to cool it, he may be trying to hype the fight, but over-confidence can work in a bad way, this could may be a close fight we will see soon enough..
I still remember Nigel Benns **** talking to Michael Watson before they fought, he said something like "have a good look round at the scenery cos after the fight you won't have eyes to see with, you're in big trouble Watson" He looked a right stupid **** after the fight too, just like the slap-happy trainer will :yep

Aye, you need to draw the line when it comes to mouthing other ppl off in them taste of words. Can be made to look a rite fool when the show is over. He`s not the best of speakers Enzo who nearly got clipped by Hopkins in London not that it would of happened but Enzo STFU ffs! Amazing coach but thats it and thats all he`s paid to do so he neednt slag off other pros, just stupid. And before i shell out a few grand on Hopkins/Calzaghe i dont need him telling the world that the fight in Vegas will be boring and that`ll he`ll need waking up everytime the rounds up. Thats really going to sell the show out innit Enz. Ppl worked all yr to get that money together so they could go and support your son. This kind of talk is not unusual. I have heard the phrase "I'm going to permanently retire ____" more times than I can count. After the fight the boxers will hug and be friends, it's just business.
