"We knew that Jones was susceptible to feints. Jones would still punch with a bit of fear. So every time Joe would feint, Jones was panicking. Common sense... Jones was falling for the feints. Joe was biting away, and Jones was losing stamina just from the feints."

as just stated on another thread..

Jones was in prime condition, he showed more heart than he ever has, he was beyond motivated, he had his speed there, he was on his toes fighting till the last bell, he had his power advantage over Joe being natrually bigger, this was near enough a RJJ who was 26, and it would have shown, against any otehr fighter except a certain Joe Calzaghe, RJJ in this fight was the epitome of ''Great fighter has 1 last great fight'' unfortunately for Jones, he was just never in Calzaghes class.

So prime for Prime, this ends exactly the same way, except Joe wouldn't have brittle hands in his prime, and Ko's Jones in the middle rounds.

I love Enzo, he talks so much ****. Next time I get an argument, I'll hire Enzo to talk **** on my behalf while I enjoy a cup of tea. Money well spent.

Jones was lost in the ring. He had no clue what Joe was doing, it was down right degrading. Roy "must have forgot" he was facing the best boxer in the world when he took the fight. He was humiliated, couldn't of happened to a nicer guy :deal

    ****ing speechless,

    :patsch

Roy was in the best shape he can be in that point of his career.

Now I know if Joe fought Roy 8-10 years ago before Jones began going up in weight, The outcome would've been very different.

Seeing as how Joe has never went and fought as a Heavyweight, I feel he was able to keep his body properly in tact.

Props to Joe for the win and to Jones for the heart, but what was said there, is just plain crazy.

True, but Clazaghe out classed, and mocked during the fight. Glen and Tarver did not.
