Enzo Calzaghe: "We Knew That Jones Had Fear And Would Panic"

Do you think a Prime Jones would have let Joe go after the KD like what happened on Sat night? A prime Jones would have finished him or at worst in the second round.

 

Duhhatsch of course joe landed more punches in his fight with jones it went 12 rounds, Roy lasted 2 round with tarver and 7 rounds with Johnson. not alot of time to land a lot of punches in that span of time.

 

How do you know what would have happened if they fought years ago, both with much younger bodies but much less experience and probably slightly less strength? All we know is that a 36 year old Joe beat the hell out of a 39 year old Roy. I agree with Manny Steward. Joe would have been a problem for Roy at anytime.

 

The Calzaghes shouldn't brag about this fight because everybody knew that Roy wasn't what he used to be. I thought Roy could do one more great performance but he couldn't for more than a few rounds. He did almost take Calzaghe's head off with one uppercut though. They should take the win for what it was and nothing more.

 

....and what an uppercut!.........what a chin too!

You're definitely more irritating than Enzo, repeating this nonsense over and over again.

 

I love to hear fighters talk, and could care less what any trainer has to say when it comes to talking about a fight his fighter won or loss. Trainers shouldn't be allowed to speak on fights until 10 days after the fight lol. No seriously, we love to hear trainers who are rarely in front of the camera speak. Hearing Steward and Enzo talk about pro boxers, and both having never fought pro is at times ok to hear until they start imagining they are fighters. Then you can see how ridiculous they sound. Enzo saying Roy was scared is comical. Roach has been bugging out lately, but at least he has fights under his belt.

Seriously when they cut to the dressing room and Roy threw some punches for the camera it looked like he was gassing. I was like, please just sit down Roy.

 

It is true. If Joe, and Enzo want to gloat about beating Jones - the simply fact is that he should have stopped a shot fighter who could only see through one eye for half the fight.

 

Dont ever try to donate your brain to science. It will be rejected.
