People bash on Wlad too much for not bringing in the excitement, but he is far from worst top dog at HW.

**** Enzo Calzague, to say something ridiculous like putting Joe at HW would be easy. Wlad would be glad to get a massage from Joe's slaping before decapitating him already in the first round.

I think a prime Bruno would drop him, Brewster already beat him, Peter lost a close fight where he made him kiss the canvas 3 times when he just turned 25, prime Briggs would give him hell for the first couple rounds, Valuev may have the chin and will to beat Wlad, the rest of them Wlad would beat badly.

Considering this statement came from Enzo Calzaghe, out of all trainers, it should be taken with a gain of salt. This is the same guy who "prepared" Gary Lockett for his retirement against Kelly Pavlik. The same guy who has taught his son, Joe Calzaghe, bad slapping habits and poor boxing fundamentals.

In my opinion, Wladimir is neither. He isn't the best (by a far stretch) and he isn't the worse.

 

I rarely use any of Windows little gems for that series to be honest when people find out who made the ******ed remark they just say "so, what more do you expect from that ******?"

Enzo is probably the worst judge of talent outside of his son.

 

I mean Wlad can't fight inside, he didn't rematch 2 of the men who beat him, and he is fighting guys in a time that probably aren't that good, but he is far from the worst hevy. He has talent, and he has beaten some credible opposition. He made it back after some nightmare fights and is still ticking. His last fight showed that he is a very vulnerable champ, but he is winning.

 

I would have to think FLINT ISLAND is in Never Never land?

Enzo is dreaming. His son would not even dare to risk taking out a Hopkins on the decline.

If I were Enzo, I would worry about Roy Jones.

Oh, by the way Wlad would beat Calzaghe easier than he defeated Byrd.

 

Vlad is anything but exciting. He is a 6'6'' 245lb vagina. He had Sultan Ibragimov standing there begging to be knocked out for 12 rounds. That fight was definitely a candidate for biggest snoozer I've ever seen. Watch the fight - even his trainer Manny Steward was telling him to ktfo Ibragimov. But yeah, Vlad's always in those real "barn burners".
