No way! Too bad myself and a lot of other Americans agree with what Steward said that night. He needed a spectacular knock out win against Ibragimov to create broader appeal and he jabbed his way to an easy UD. He could have easily put Sultan to sleep, but couldnt pull the trigger. This is hands down the lamest division in boxing.

Not to derail the thread, but I actually look forward to Haye. At least he will either knock someone out or get knocked out and he wont do it throwing 6 jabs a round and no power punches.

 

Enzo has said a lot of dumb ****, he doesn't know anything. He also thought Gary Lockett would KO Pavlik.

 

Really can't blame him for picking Lockett, he was his fighter, of course he will pick him to win the fight.

 

No I guess Wladimir isn't a olympic gold medalist or a two time heavyweight champion or a unified heavyweight champion at all nope. I guess he isn't 6'6 245 lbs and has hand speed quicker than enzo's loud mouth son who slap boxes.

Polymath - audley hasn't even beaten a top 20 heavyweight how could you even make that comparison. Let alone he has never won a world title nor will he ever.

 

i agree with enzo to an extent.but there really isnt anyone good enough out there.i know people are waiting to see what happens to haye.but i wouldnt hold your breath unless haye can fight a whole fight with out being hit as he has a didgy chin and wlad would drop him if he caught him once.
the only person in enzo calz camp to go hw would be enzo macc who also has a dodgy chin.you can train fighters to fight better but there is nothing you can do about glass jaws.

 

I posted after that I understood what you were getting at. It just came out funny in your post. I forgot you have NO sense of humor or tolerance when it comes to the subject matter of your posts. I'm a fan of Wlad but I can admit he lost to Brewster because Brewster was PUNCHING him and nothing else. Whether he was drugged or whatever, or he just got tired from over-excerting himself trying to finish Lamon...he gassed and Brewster began landing bombs. End of story. Am I wrong? :deal

 

Let's not forget Klitschko has faced the best total opposition available amongst all active heavyweights ! He does fight who's best out there and he does have above average talent for the heavyweight class !!

 

No you're right. Brewster beat WALD with punches, and his glass jaw was definately a factor.

 

Exhaustion more then glass jaw. If he had a "glass" jaw he wouldn't always be able to get back up. Unless you are claiming he has a glass jaw, but a huge heart? :think

 

I've never doubted WALDOS heart. It's a Klitschko thing, VITLAY got WALDOS share of punch resistance, and WALDO got VITLAYS share of heart.

Just think, if the docs could have distributed the two factors equally when they performed the medical experiment, they'd both be unbeatable
