From what I have seen Frenkel is the more complete fighter. Chakhkiev looks very good though. Can´t say, really. I´ve seen much more of Frenkel though and he is, aside of Jack Culcay, Tomasz Adamek and Wlad the only one I´m really interested in, so I may be biased.

They haven´t announced the cw S6 yet. I hope Frenkel isn´t in it. He isn´t ready yet. He needs another year or something between 2-4 fights against fringe contender, contender level opponents for that.

lol you're only interested in 5 fighters?

I agree it's early but i do think he could compete vs Wlodarczyk, Cunningham, Huck.

agree with you, very good points. i also follow Frenkel since almost 2 years.
i knew he had the potential to make it for at least a EU belt.

Yes Wegner was more sure that Murat will win than Frenkel last night. and i saw a Mayweather-like shoulder roll by Frenkel. :good
Kid has some skills but should work on few things.

He really seems like a nice fella, i hope to see him back in the ring by end of the year.

a fight with Huck or Lebedev would be explosive.

damn and Russian Chakhiev looks like a very good prospect for the future.

The Cruiserweight is in a real good state and filled with talent - a shame this division is not so popular but lets hope for the Super Six!

With interested I mean I´m some kind of fan and really look out after those.

Right now? Nah, he would get stopped mid to late rounds against all three. In a few years, yeah he will be there. Wlod and Cunningham will probably be retired by then.

I haven't watch a great deal of them but the Polish CW's Kolodziej and Masternak look like good prospects too.

    I can't wait for Huck-Lebedev.

    :good

He showed some good upperbody movement yesterday, something not that common for the Wegener-school, and yeah, some kind of shouler-roll. Looked a bit like Toney when Macca had him on the ropes but less releaxed. Still pretty good, Macca didn´t really land anything good on him there.

A few years ago I thought Alexeev would rule cw for years ... who knew he has no mental toughness. :-(

lol I still haven't given up on him. What happened vs Ramirez happens to alot of young fighters and vs Lebedev he just got caught right on the temple vs a huge puncher. He has heart imo he tried getting up 3 times just didn't have the legs due to the equalibrium shot. Needs to learn to bring his right back up after he jabs though.

I don´t think he will make it big. European level at best. He has all the tools but he can´t take heat. It´s not heart but a mental toughness thing. He wants but he can´t stand up to pressure.

Absolutely. Frenkel never showed that defense/movement or chin in any of his fights before. This was the first time he was really pressured by Enzo. And he did good.

I think Enzo even landed some on him. Maybe 2-3 good ones.

after the KO you even see Frenkel walking in his corner thinking "damn that shouldnt have happened, the Ref should take him out"

Frenkel could have even dropped him with a Jab after the first Knockdown. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

Enzo was winning that round too, really thought he was getting the better of frenkel overall in the fight up until that shot. Well done frenkel though.

Wasn't overly impressed with Frenkel, but he gets credit for scoring a dramatic knockout and countering effectively at times. He showed class by not celebrating too.

    Agreed.

That was not impressive but Frenkel just proved that he can hang in there with the Big Boys and the only one who would celebrate after this Knockout is Mayorga.

Lets forget the Enzo Drama and cheer Cleverly who i was very impressed with. damn, he should use that Jab more often!

Very nice event in the UK.
