Hope he isn't coming back. Enzo has taken some frightening wallops, none more so than the last one which was close to a decapitation thanks to the ref letting it go on. Must be frustrating as hell to have genuine offensive talent which can see him comfortably winning a fight but a chin that undermines it all. Hopefully someone will talk sense into him.
Good luck to him! He was beating Frenkel until the KO. It was a bad KO but it's not like it ever looked like coming before that so he can definitely operate at European level for me, I just hope he doesn't take any more big shots and get hurt.
I like Enzo a lot, but in his last few his power seemed to have ebbed, too. He was landing combinations but not dropping people. Real shame as the best defence for his chin would be to knock people out before they get to him but not sure he has the power, these days. Maybe fear of getting tagged makes him hold back. I do think he could do well domestically, though.
The ref was a total wanker in the freckle fight. Regards a comeback, any promotor should be saying to him only at British level/prize-fighter. Unfortunately he will always lose above this level due to having leaks in his defence that top guys will expose. It's not all to do withhaving a dodgy chin because all the ko's he's suffered have been brutal power shots that would have shaken and probably stopped sturdier men All in all I wish him luck, just don't want him to have one fight too many
If thats the case I guarentee we see him face 2 bums and then an all Welsh stadium fight vs Cleverly for the title.
His defense is poor. He gets hit by monster punches. That plus a combination of a poor chin=ktfo as we have seen. Hang them up or stay at British level.
I think he could. He walks around naturally at 200lbs. Have seen him interviewed a few times where he has said he could make light heavy.
He doesn't look like he can take anything off, other than muscle - he always looks fairly lean come fight night - and that's after he's had a chance to rehydrate.
