Enzo Mac looks in good shape

Yeah showed him on sky doing all that extreme training in ESCAPE nightclub. Slamming Truck tyres and lifting beer kegs. Looks like his diet has improved too and he has cut his hair short. Looks like the David Haye loss had the right effect on him, made him more determined.

 

Hows he gonna handle this guys style though. He ducks and rolls likes hes James Toney thats what I heard.

No he looked in shape last time too with a new improved physique when he outgunned Matthew Ellis.

 

ok, i missed that one mate. he's training different now then? is he still with enzo calzaghe?

 

I assume so because I seen Enzo Calzaghe sat on the stage during a press conference for the show on SKY the other day. Since Joe retired the future of Camp Calzaghe has looked uncertain. But there has been nothing to say otherwise so Enzo Calzaghe is still trainer as far as I know.

However that new style conditioning work he is doing seems to be in escape nightclub in Swansea and seems to not involve Enzo Calzaghe. Pherhaps Maccarenelli does his boxing training with Enzo Calzaghe but felt he needed a extra dimension to his training and so does conditioning work away from the Calzaghe camp.

 

Down to an 'A' Cup I heard, impressive.

 

Enzo is gonna be in better shape than this guy he is fighting. But its the style that is a concern. Enzo is more upright and might have trouble landing on the slipping ducking London/Amercian he is fighting.

 

This is why I've changed my predicition to Maccarinelli by UD. I couldn't pin down a video of Afolabi but the reports I've read hint he is very awkward and slick, and good at fighting off the ropes.

Usually this sort of style is kryptonite for an upright standup boxer.

I think Enzo might have to settle for a Braithwaite type performance where he shows his skills and speed. I think he'll realise he can't KO this dude, and the more he tries the more he gets tagged by counters.

Ola is good. He can take a punch but doesn`t have a KO punch himself. i spoke to him about a year ago when he was coaching at the Wildcard and he said his eyes were so bad he would never box again. He`s a nice guy. Was born in Africa, calls himself English and has an American accent. I`ve just spoke to Pepper Roach, Freddy`s brother and he thinks it will go the distance. I`ve heard that Ola`s not as fit as he should be. i`ll go for Mac to win but late in the fight.
