In other words he wants a string of easy opponents before gets exposed for a fat pile of cash. Does Cleverly have any understanding what the word "champion" means?
Yeah but here Ovill is his man as well and can sell at few tickets surely, not like the unknown Laryea
Ive met Enzo and he's never seemed the type to lie about these things, I honestly believe he took them unintentionally not knowing that they were illegal
:yep Cleverly would have faced... Kuziemski Bellew Karpency Uzelkov Ovil/Enzo Disgraceful, Shocking, Boring, Useless, Crap and ****, are words that dosnt do enough justice of describing how bad and shameful this run of opponents actually is.
His opponents before becoming champ could be argued to be a harder run Mohameddi Murat Brancallion Fry (maybe not him) McIntosh
Its true, there is not a lot in it, also he peaked in the Murat fight and since then he has slowly regressed as a fighter. That's where his loyalty to Frank has got Nathan, he is the laughing stock of British Boxing. I have more respect for Audley Harrison than I do for him.
There's a couple of letters in this weeks BN complaining about Cleverly's level of opposition, one of which gets an 'Editor replies' bit backing up Clev. "...There were also discussions with Bernard Hopkins' advisers." I'd have thought they went something like this. "Would Bernard like to fight Nathan Cleverly in Wales?" "Who?"
