Maca is ducking Haye, he is happy fighting chumps like Bobby Gunn and shot fighters like Braithwaite. a fraud
I thought last night was a pretty good fight and Enzo did well against a fairly awkward opponent, but people on here are saying how it proves his class - I don't get it, it just wasn't that impressive. Well done to him though. ITV's coverage though 'two of the worlds biggest punchers' do me a favour.
haye didnt want to fight becuase frank warren wanted options over haye and if your a british fighter and tied to frank warren you'll get to the top but you'll never be the best hatton only after he broke away from frank did he get respect.
Macarinelli has made improvements since being trained by Enzo Calzaghe, & I feel he showed a lot of patience against Braithwaite last night. Enzo did not rush in when he caught Braithwaite with a solid shot. The uppercut at the end of a particular round, can't remember which round it was, was a peach of a punch. Braithwaite has a very good chin in my view. Macarinelli would have a very good chance against any of his pees in my view, but I do think Haye would beat him if they ever fought. I reckon Haye hits even harder & faster than Enzo, & even though Enzo has made in-roads in terms of boxing skills, I feel Haye is the more naturally talented fighter. I think Haye will dispose of Mormeck come late September, & then move up to HW. The chance for Haye vs Macarinelli at 200lbs has gone. Haye struggles to make weight, & he'll no doubt move up after Mormeck, win, lose or draw. Not healthy to keep depleting his body again & again. Macarinelli has had a good, solid win. How about keeping up the momentum & try to fight Bell on the Calzaghe vs Kessler undercard? Good, competetive fight if you ask me.
Two big guys, two skilled operators, two hard hitters, two ok chins, two warriors, two champions... ...need I say more? BOMBS AWAY!
