I am happy for Ola he deserves that belt. Who is the real champ now Ola or Ramirez? :huh Well it doesnt matter soon theres only going to be one anyways
Some credit to Afolabi is due here. Perhaps it was in his game plan to set up a KO, and be patient in doing so? I certainly saw it that way, over the course of the fight. Hide is an interesting case, he is so unpredictable it's almost comical. He can KO some solid HW contenders one year, then he's getting KOed by complete unknowns the next. Two things are certain where Herbie is involved: 1. he's got one punch power at any weight. 2. he's got a glass jaw, at least above 200 lbs.
Enzo got hurt earlier in the fight..... As for Ramirez/Afolabi.... Actually Ramirez is fighting Ali Ismalov or however its spelled for the actual title.... But Afolabi does have next.... Isn't it funny that a while ago BJ Flores turned down a fight with Ola Afolabi after Afolabi beat Eric Fields... Then Flores turns down a fight with Enzo.... And it's Ola, not BJ, thats one step from being a world champion....
Ah, here I thought Ramirez was interim, but Ola is the interim champ...basically both won the interim belt but Ramirez looks like he's going to be promoted to full champ, like you said. On your other point, Flores did turn down Maccarinelli, but he was out of the ring for 11 months at the time, and was given 2 weeks to prepare, or something that ridiculous. It was not a serious offer from F. Warren. :bart
