    How is the ****witted Maccarinelli still deluding himself into thinking that he lost to Haye as the result of a 'mistake'. He got found out - simple as.

    read the interview last night , I used to Like Enzo but he's starting to grind me down with the ****. Goiing on and on about mistakes rather than just admitting that Haye was a beast. Also he says like 9 times that hes not the type to sit about and moan about it which is all he's f**kin done since the fight.

    He lost to one of the best cruisers ( probably there has ever been ) no shame there , admit it and get on with it ! ! ! ! !

    Why would anybody be pushing for a re-match? It was one of the most one sided contests you're likely to see. I don't think even Enzo himself would seriously consider getting back into the ring with a heavyweight Haye.

    And on a separate note, why do you keep telling us about seeing Enzo? Who gives a ****.

    You know I wanted Enzo to come back from this and beat a Cunnigham or at least win back a title from someone like Banks. But he is starting to **** me off, and he is a deluded ****ing idiot. If it carries on, I will probably be hoping he gets sparked again by someone like Adamek.

    If I was worried about what a person like you thought of me - a person I aint even got a ****ing clue who you are - then I really would be a sad case.

    Its not a worship thread banging on about the past - its new matrial about the future - and a possible remtach with Hayemaker at heavyweight.

    Good post -I think there is alot of truth there.

    Wether Enzo made a mistake or not - Haye was a heavyweight beast on the night.

    Also - it seems the past - the fight - still consumes Maccarenelli - and he is filled with anger and regret at a embrassing loss.

    I be very surprised if anytime soon Maccrenelli came out and said he lost fair and square to the better man and that Haye outclassed him and that Hay would beat him 10/10 and blew him away easy because he was not good enough.

    Its not going happen.

    Enzo still thinks he can beat Haye - and you cant blame a man for wanting to have redemption against a man who handed him a humilating loss.

    Haye the greatest crusierweight there has ever been? :huh

    Based on what knocking Mormeck out? :!:

    He might be the best crusierweight you seen.

    But there are years of boxing history before Haye came along.

    James Toney is one crusierweight of just the new millineum who was more a complete fighter to Haye and would have defeated Haye Prime for Prime at crusierweight :yep

    Frank is my promoter

    If they have issues between them then so be it.....

    Clealy Macca realises that Frank Warren more than anybody else is responsible for him becoming a 'world' champion - it can't be just a co-incidence that Enzo is an SN fighter and gets a WBO shot immediately after the title becomes vacant.......

    I think what he meant was that Haye is probably one of the greatest CW's there has ever been; you can't really argue with that.

    Toney is undoubtedly more skillful than Haye.

    Prime Holyfield is definitely better than Haye at CW.

    After that????? There ain't that many to pick from.


    Of course, old Enzo Mac isn't even on the ****ing radar when it comes to the top CW's, and he probably never will be....because....well.....he's a bit **** at the old boxing.

    You're both right, I did write "probably" but I meant "possibly" :patsch

    Haye is up there at cruiser though , Haye , Holyfield , Dwight Muhammed he desrves to be mentioned amongst that lot

    Anyway the point remains he got beat by a really good fighter , take it , stop complaining and get back on the horse !

    ( p.s. Apart from Jirov , who was tough but kinda made to order , what did Toney really do at the weight , he is in there based on skill level and one fight ! )

    On World title terms Toney only had the one fight - its not a deep legacy at all.

    Haye only had 2 World title fights at Cruiserweight though.

    However just because Toney had only one fight at the weight - dont take away from his modern greatness - he had never fought at cruiserweight before - and in his firdt fight - he went straight in with the number 1 guy at the weight and beat him - a obvious sign of a top quality fighter
