The question would not be how many rounds it would last but how many seconds.

Thats why I am asking you guys.

I am not a old timer.

It is hard for me to judge Joe Louis other than his good reputation from years gone by.

I would have a better chance of understanding the ability of Joe Louis if he was picthed in against a modern day fighter I know well

Enzo Maccarenelli fits the bill perfecrt - a former World Champion Cruusierweight - one of the biggest punchers in the world - who could make heavyweight he said so himself

Why do you make so many thread matching Maccarenelli against guys he has very little to no chance against? You have matched him up against Tyson, Ali, Lewis, Holyfield and now Louis you even compared his power to Foreman and Liston's. Do you really rate Maccarenelli that highly?

He is a hometown fighter - lives about 5 miles from me.

I'm just interested in what people think he would do against these great fighters

Joe Louis is too small to deal with this one. He was great in his own era, but it's unfair to match him up with the likes of Enzo Maccarinelli.

I dont think there is a fighter around today at cruiserweight or heavyweight capable of lasting more than a few rounds against Joe Louis.

As a finisher he Louis second to none in the history of gloved boxing. To put him into perspective try to imagine a fighter who had the sort of speed and power of a David Haye or Enzo Mac but only needed a few inches of room to throw his combinations.

Surely Vitali Kiloishtko would be too big and powerful for him

And if Enzo cracked him on the chin what would happen?
