Calzaghe should skip Jones and fight the young dangerous Pavlik - it s a fight alot of the people want.

Let Maccarenelli have Jones at Crusierweight.

Could be on the same bill:

Calzaghe V Pavlik - Main Event.

Maccarenlli V Jones - Chief Support.

Enzo Maccarenlli expressed his desire to fight Roy Jones Jnr before and wanted him to fight down in the liberty stadium in Swansea.

Jones has never fought at Crusierweight and at his peak would have started a hot favorite to outbox Maccarenelli.

But what about now Jones is faded force but still got touches of class in him and Maccarenelli needs to prove himself against a big name to establish that he is not a fighter finished after Haye knocked him out

anyone for Maccarenelli V Roy Jones

would do you think would win @ Crusierweight?

I think Jones would still do Maccarenelli now, unless Macca hit him right on the money but i don't see it going past the 6th Jones TKO

do you honeslty think a fading Jones would still have the class to knock out a peak Enzo Maccarenelli - I dont know thats why I would be fasincated to see this fight

If Jones could keep it in the middle, he might beat Enzo.

If he sits on the ropes then I'd back Enzo to KO him.

I think Enzos whiskers let him down, not taking anything away from Haye because he hits like a train but Macca can be wobbled and put to sleep by someone who cant hit as hard.
I think RJJ still has the class to deliver punches that Enzo wouldnt see coming and take him out that way.

a guy I worked with who incidently comes from the same place as Enzo Maccarenelli and went out drinking with him a few times in his youth had a dream in the build up to the Haye V Maccarenelli fight.

he told me he had a vision of Maccarenelli going down in the second round and he could not go on.

he was gutted after the fight that he never put a bet on what his dream told him

Big Mac by KO and I think Mac is an average fighter. Roy could not take his punch.

I'll just go with the ongoing theme here at ESB, Mac has NO ****ING RIGHT to grace the same casino/card/ring/venue as Roy. I don't care if Roy is blind and crippled in a wheel chair Steve Hawking style, he just doesn't deserve it.
