You got it. Mac wasn't supposed to fight a young man. That **** is a no no. Can't remain champ and enter the ring with a threat (Haye, etc.) that isn't over 40. Mac isn't getting the proper mgt effort. Or, maybe the times have changed.

Truth is his defense is horrible & both times he was Knockked out he was hit with blows that would have knocked out just about any fighter at their weight class.

Calzaghe Sr. can't teah Joe's speed & agility that's born with it ****. 99% of anyone he trains /Does/will/ever will never be able to fight with their arms down like Joe.

IMO, It's not so much that Mac can't take a punch as much as it is bad training.

Maccarenelli was jaded from the first bell. Something was not right with his preparation. The Maccarenelli who went 12 rounds with Mark Hobson had the fitness to do 12 tough action packed rounds. But here he seemed slow and jaded. Something was wrong with his preparation. The knockout came at the end because he was so ****ed it was do or die. I'd be intrested to see a rematch and for Maccarenelli to go back to his old style training and try to come in fresh and fit not slow and jaded.

Enzo may have a dodgy chin and Ola may only have 6 KO's but that was a bomb.

It's pretty obvious that Ola's style is one of the reasons why he has'nt got a higher KO %.

Bomb or not, the hype surrounding Enzo was ridiculous and if some people say he can knock out Cunningham Adamek etc... than he at least should of finished the job with Ola.

 

I figured that Enzo would have his hands full when this fight was signed. Afolabi is a gamer despite his relative anonymity that followed him into the fight. Enzo's chin isn't the sturdiest but Ola just nailed him with a hell of a shot, a shot that would have done serious damage to a lot of fighters weak chin or not.
