Unfortunetly his career ended last night but it must be said was he was a force to be reckoned with before haye and who knows what could have happened to him if he had never met haye or if frank warren hadnt sheltered him so much. in my opinion i think that Maca had the potential to be a truely great crusier. He was a man who at the very least was one of the most exciting fighters of the day

Agreed. Enzo never regained his confidence after Haye fight. In fact I think he lost his confidence on his walk to the ring before the Haye fight if the truth be told. I like Enzo as a person and I'm sorry his career ended like this. I wish him success in whatever he goes on to do.

As much as i rag on Enzo i really wish him well tho.

Im not like Zakman and have no respect for fighters like the twat that he is, but Ill give it to Enzo for stepping in there with the tough Russian, cause he didn't have to.

Major props to Enzo, and i hope he is financially set with his invested money. Enjoy retirement Enzo!

    :good

I don't think Enzo was ever really a true "force" but he made the most of his ability and always fought quality opponents. Pretty exciting fighter, too.

I disagree. Seems like a bloody nice bloke but he's very limited as a boxer. I personally feel he would be a solid European/Commonwealth champion. I dont think he was ever good enough to be a real force on the world stage

I disagree that Enzo could have ever been a great Cruiser, in any day and age. IMO at his very best he was a fringe top 15 fighter with a very good promoter who sheltered him to a belt.

However he was an exciting fighter and a nice guy outside the ring. I wish him the best in his future endeavours, hopefully he stops boxing for his own good.

How the hell did he beat and knock down Braithwaite.
Something huge must have happened to Enzo because the one who's turned up in his last three fights would have got KO'd in 1 round against Braithwaite.

Gun shy after Haye did a number on him. The Enzo that fought Braithwaite was a different animal entirely. vs Braithwaite was an impressive performance by Enzo and an enjoyable fight IMO.

Enzo is a top man. A real good fighter in his day but not quite good enough to do it for any length of time on the world stage. Even so, he went about his fighting the right way and was a good ambassador for the sport. Good luck Enzo, hope you earned enough to enjoy your retirement. One of the gentlemen of boxing.

A good guy and above European level fighter, never top world class.

I would say similar to the Level of a Mikkel Kessler...succselfull against past best and average fighters, but unable to hang with Elite(Haye)

A similar level to the arguable P4P number one, but not able to hang with the elite?

Lee Swaby exposed Enzo well before Haye ever did.

Haye's CW resume isnt all that strong.

Good dude but just not World Class.
