What do people think about that? Chris Byrd did that recently and failed. Enzo says he still has the desire to fight. Is he losing it, or, do u still think he has a chance? Lets hear it, ESB.:good
Dumb move. He must let it go, he already got knocked out more than it's healthy and he's getting more long-term damage with each fight. Given his size I pretty much doubt he can lose 25lbs without killing himself and a severly drained fighter is even more vulnerable to brain damage. Lose-lose situation, he must retire for his own good, and if he can't realize that maybe someone should send him copies of him getting knocked the **** out, that should help making a sane deicision.
someone has to step in and tell him he can't fight any more. his last knock out was brutal (and about doubly as bad as it had to be due to bad reffing). surely frank warren or enzo calzaghe or his wife has to say to him it's time to quit.
He's listed as 6'4....but yeah he already looks real skinny at cruiserweight (where he's already taller than average). I think he was actually a heavyweight when he first started out. If he does make the weight he'll be one skinny dude, but he'll have physical advantages.
if he can do it why not but somehow i doubt he can make that weight if he has been a career cruiser and isnt young anymore
Didn't he get the memo yet? I thought Lebedev and Frenkel delivered the "time to hang 'm up bro" message quite clear to him, but then again maybe they did too much damage.
Hell yeah he his. He has no Chin and needs to be banned from boxing for his own good. They banned Augie Sanchez for getting brutally knocked out a few times, Enzo has been brutally knocked out more times but still the BBBoC won't ban him. It will end in disaster.
Ive seen Enzo fight twice on JC undercards and thought his conditioning wasnt great and a real open defence. There was a time when he had a punchers chance , but thats gone now. He gets embarrassed by anyone half decent at 175 and anyone in the top 10 really hurt him.
Mistake imo. Enzo doesn't help himself at times imo, yes he tries to Box occasionally, but one of his problems, is that when he sees an opportunity to counter, he tries to punch hard all! the time, so he's always committing to his punches, staying in range a little longer than he should be.
Stupid, he shouldnt be allowed to fight again. He will get hurt even more moving down, he'll be drained and wont be able to handle the speed
