Quite clearly a **** take thread, but on a serious note Enzo should hang the gloves up.
His punch resistance is virtually zero now, even grazing punches landed on his chin or temple have him doing the silly dance, and had the 1st round gone the full distance he'd of been KO'd.
Maybe its his own stubborness or maybe the people around him are misleading him,but this needs to stop before (god forbid) he is seriously hurt.No disrespect to McPhilbin but the Enzo of 5 or 6 years ago would of embarrassed him,the version of Enzo we seen last night was lucky to have got past the 1st round.
As many have said,Enzo is one the genuine nice guys in the sport,he should retire while he still has his health and faculties intact.

What is the verdict on the timekeeper ?
Was he just incompetent,or was there something more underhanded going on ?
1st round stopped 47 seconds early just as McPhilbin was about to stop Enzo, and starting the count several times when the ref hadn't signalled a knockdown !!

this fight was the biggest disgrace i've ever seen, macronelli was absolutely gone, stumbling all over the ring and the bell rang 47 secs early for the 1st round when the fight was basically finished in the 1st round - an absolute ****ing disgrace, worst thing i've ever seen in boxing.

This fight was at cruiserweight not light heavyweight so the question of how he'd do at 175lb is irrelevant based on last night really. But regardless of that Maccarinelli is finished and has been for a long time. Nice guy from everything I’ve heard, but even in his prime he was nothing more than a W*rren hyped overachiever.

He got put on his ass multiple times by a 8-2 rookie and profited from an early bell? Enzo is horrible at 175.

    This fight was at 200,

But seriously he gets beat by every world champion at 175, your nut if you think he stands a chance against cleverly, even though he is arguably the worst of the main contenders, he is leagues above enzo

Enzo would defeat only Bflop as he has an extremely low work-rate and is featherfisted. Last time Bflop stopped one was against diving ODLH in 2004 and against great Morrade Hakkar in 2003.......

If you look closely the bell was rung by a member of McPhilbins entourage to save him from further punishment :deal

Exactly, Enzo has his flaws but his chin is seriously underrated on these boards.

    Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

    THE FACTS

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis barely survived the 2nd round and almost got KO'd, he was badly hurt, holding on for dear life, wobbling everywhere and staggering around the ring like a drunk. Lewis was badly hurt several times in the fight and was getting outslugged, outworked, outmuscled, outlanded and outboxed by Vitali.

    punches landed

    Vitali 156

    Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

After the fight, Vitali intimidated the **** out of Lewis and made him look like a *****. The whole crowd cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis.

    Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The gutless coward Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 40 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his ***** ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.
