Just watched the finish now, to be fair, he got hit with 3 absolutely clean punches on the chin. From reading post's I thought he got one shotted.
He was literally put on qeeer street by an average left hook to the jaw. He then took another left and a right and went down like a tree. Clearly he has zero punch resistance left and calling it a day is the right decision.
Was willing him to win yesterday and looked OK in there until. Shame to go out like that after a decent career but right decision. Too many ko stoppages. Good luck.
I hope he's earned plenty in his career and gets a stint at punditry. He was always in exciting fights.
Says the ESB Guru. Lets face facts mate, you're a standing joke around here, and nobody pays any attention to the drivel you post. Log off and go play on the middle lane of the M1 :good
Looping an uppercut in close is suicide. a guy of his experience shouldnt be throwing them shots we saw farrag do exactly the same last night. Thats whats wrong with british boxing. Theres not many who know how to throw true hooks and uppercuts in close.
Hes probably done well over the years and hes pretty astute. I doubt hes blown it all like some do. John murray springs to mind
