Silly. Enzo has a bad chin himself.

 

This is Herbie Hide we are talking about here, not David Haye. Enzo would have to be far worse than anybody suspects to get caught by one of Hide's clumsy telegraphed swipes.

 

But we wouldn't be mistaking Enzo for Pernell Whitaker anytime soon, with that upright style. He can easily be caught, it is a definite outside chance. If he does he'll be on that canvas.

I just don't see how we can rule it out. It takes one silly mistake from Enzo. A guy that got starched by Lee Swaby, thats how bad his chin is. What's more, his recovery powers looked terrible against Haye, so once he gets hit you can go make a cup of tea.

I'd favour Enzo by a good margin though.

There was no shame whatsoever in losing his title to such a fine fighter as Vitali Klitschko.
Herbie put on a fine display of "panic milling" before finally succumbing to a nasty abrasion from Vitali's glove lacing, which would have sparked any man alive.
He will always be a champ in my eyes.

couple that with the fact vitali was a much taller and broader its no surprise he KOd a cruiserweight.
Id pick Enzo to win if he was in the right frame of mind, he bottled it against haye but i think he could outbox and outlast hide and he would have a big enuff punch to get to herbie

 

Sorry, but even the most diehard Hide fans would admit he was utterly starched by punches that were less than thunderous. That final punch barely touched him. Also, he was not a cruserweight at the time, he was a heavyweight.

 

i dont even like hide and he was strugglin with some less than stella shots and he didnt have great chin but that last right hand would have caused people with chins better than hide a few problems. Vitali had a good punch. Hide may have been fighting at heavyweight but he was outweighed by 20 pounds he looked tiny in there he was a cruiserweight who had bulked up.

 

Seconded - Hide was a cruiser fighting at heavy. Props to him though, but the glass jaw did him no favours.

 

After the next fight i think that Herbie may fight a legitimate foe... hope he realizes his time is going going and almost gone.. hope he gets a fight with Huck or someone who would legitmize his comeback or else it is too late... he is still a punch away from knocking one out or gettting ko's himslef unless he can take ounches better at cruiserweight.. either way Herbie sure does get the message board fans out with their either love em or hate him comments... good for Hide
