Enzo vs Dean Francis at the MEN

Terrible fight, in fact it sounds like somebody has got their wires crossed.

Cleverly - Francis on the other hand is a good match.

Yep

there were people on here saying Francis would beat Enzo

and that thread was only maybe 3 months ago

now it seems everyone has this fight down as a mismatch

 

I wasnt on here before before

Haye and Enzo

locked horns for WBO / WBC / WBA honours

But after the fight on here everyone is saying that Haye was way better than Enzo, etc

But before the fight it was seen as probaly 60-40 in Hayes favour by Public opinon

But everybody is a genius after the event

 

Actually, I and every logical poster were genuises before and after the event.

The logic for picking Enzo was almost exclusively "Haye is weight drained". You know that is some awful logic when you have to rely on the other guy being physically diminished. There was no boxing logic that said Enzo had a chance.

 

Surely he had a punchers chance.

Even after gettting destroyed inside two rounds I'd still give him a punchers chance.

His problem was he lacked the confidence to really go for it and Haye was superb in countering Enzo with speed power and accuracy.

But even just a brushing glance from Enzo cut Hayes eye open

Ok Enzo might have found it very diffcult to land on Haye

But if he had he could have done some seruious damage

Did you give him a punchers chance TFFP?

And apart from the punchers chance

Name speciifically why you never gave him any logical chance?

 

Why didn't I give him a chance?

The better question is why would I?

Haye had every advantage in the fight. He was the quicker more athletic athlete against an upright fighter, the sort he had previously had no problems against. He was bigger. He has more power. He times his shots better. He was the more confident fighter, and the more proven fighter against better opposition, that has overcome adversity.

Enzo had a punchers chance like everybody has a punchers chance against Wlad. There is a small chance there, but the fight would have to happen 95 times for 5 of those results to happen due to the advantages in favour of Wlad.

 

I wonder.................

If the ref had let Enzo fight on

Do you reckon Haye would have knocked him out cold there and then?

Or

Do you reckon Enzo could have managed to survive his way through the round and recover and get himself back into the fight?

 

This is a ridiculous match-up tbh. Enzo should be fighting the top Cruisers in the world not British Light-Heavyweights.

I personally think Enzo's head would have bounced back off the ring post and taken out Haye.

 

If the ref had let Macca fight on he would have Rico Spadafora knocking on his door wanting to suck him off.

 

In fairness Enzo did fight a fully fledged Heavyweight in his last outing, it balances out.

 

Why does everything have to be for an interim? What happened to eliminators? This doesn't even deserve elimminator status. Its a good domstic fight and thats it.
