Probably not all that well if we're being honest... What if Maccarinelli doesn't knock him out early? And that a big possibility, Fragomeni is not the type thats easily dented. I don't fancy Enzo to have the confidence or even the ability to box a tough 12 round decision these days.
Well physically wise this would be a smiliar clash to Maccaenelli v Lebdev And the only difference is Frogemeni is proably better version of a squat tough as nails fighter Maccarenelli would gain alot more believers if he could rematch Lebdev and beat him in a rematch or Ola Alflobai But Lebdev was the more timid poor defeat At the moment I agree - Frogemeni would be too much Because this guy is good - He gave David Haye hell - and Haye really had to dig deep to win
As has been said over and over, Enzo's a genuine decent bloke, I'd love to see him win a version of the world title again. I would like to see him fighting lower-level opponents once a month for a while, his confidence still seems broken to me.
But in recent years and nowthey're not. And, as we're talking about someone fighting now and not in history, that's all that's relevant.
I think Enzo would flatten Norton... I would like to see that fight happen...:good Enzo is a nice guy he really is, I hope he does well again.
Ye he needs to go in with Norton to prove to himself that he can fight at a decent level again if he wins convincingly push on from there. Its a good confidence booster but will also be a decent yardstick as to where he is up to. If only the Banks fight had come off...... i think that messed him up a bit tbh
Enzo everytime he has a loss goes on to fight a totally crap opponent! that will teach him nothing at this stage of his career. He needs decent opponents atleast, someone who can hang on in there a bit. So he keeps knocking bums out in round 1, so what, how does that prepare him for a tougher test? He's had some good wins, but his boxing resume doesn't read well at all.
Totally agree, wasted training camps, being let down, must play tricks on his mind. I think he has a decent shout in that fight tbh.
I'd love to see him in with Norton, Steeds or Dolan. He'd destroy all of them and would give him a bit more to go on than battering journeymen. The only risk domestically is Norton who can bang a bit but still think Enzo beats him in about 4/5 rounds easy.
I think it's fair to say the 5ft 9, 34 year old, Hungarian is not the greatest: This content is protected With those body shots on a ageing opponent, it was a bit like Mathew Ellis part 2, though Ellis was arguably a better opponent.
he needs a tes, he doesn't need to know he can batter journey men, with respect to them. I think he needs a norton, so he can find out if he can cope with someone who has above average power, and to see if he has still got it. If he comes through it, then let's look forwards, but until then, let's hold judgement on world level aspirations
This man makes a fair point. We all know Enzo can knock out bums because regardless of his mindstate and the other aspects of his game he has power. It's a futile excercise, I'm not sure it builds his confidence because Enzo knows as well as anybody the #1 Hungarian is no challenege. Norton would be perfect, but we've been talking about that fight for a long time and it never happens.
