Did anyone hear John Rawling's comment about what Enzo had said about Haye? Apparently Enzo is going to watch Haye fight on saturday. He'll be cheering on Haye, as he's British, but in a selfish kind of way he wants Mormeck to win, because he thinks Haye will just dissappear to HW before Enzo gets the chance to fight him.

I am struggling to think of a "world champion" who has fought poorer opposition and been more heavily protected than Enzo.:huh When Haye wanted the fight Warren pussyed out of it. Haye is moving up to heavyweight now so it is too late. This move is only to make it seem as if Haye has ducked Enzo. No one is fooled by this.
The thing that makes me think so little of Enzo, is the fact that he must be playing along with this charade as well. It can't all be blamed on FW, unless Enzo's seriously stupid.
Apparently Enzo had a bit of a falling out with Frank. Just after the BBBoC decided they wouldn't sanction a fight with Sellers, Enzo gave this interview: 'I'm a little bit cross with Frank', 'Why's that Enzo?', 'Well Sellers has bottled it and now I've got nobody to fight. Instead of finding me a new opponent, he's been arranging a fight between two oriental fellas', 'Really Enzo, what makes you think that?' 'Well I overheard him on the phone saying he needs Sum-****-bum to fight his Egg-chin-joke'.
Steve Bune & Clinton Woods both said they felt Maccarinelli was in a better position than Haye at this stage of their career's. Are Buncey & Woods ok? Haye is fighting the rocognised No.1 man in the division on saturday. If David beat him, which I expect to, he'll be the No.1. Wonder what rollocks allegedly Warren & Enzo will then come out with once Haye wins? Maccarinelli had his chance, now it's gone, Haye has said this many times. What Warren doesn't talk about, is how he would have wanted options on Haye's career should he beat Maccarinelli. Haye sadi he wouldn't sign his career away to Warren wanting options, & I totally respect David for that. Haye will be in a much commanding position than Enzo is, & possibly ever liklely to be in, after beating Mormeck!
I doubt whether Haye's side were really trying to make the fight and were possibly just doing a publicity stunt. Surely Haye's people didn't want to mess up their mandatry shot at Mormeck as well to fight Mac? They would of lost Haye's WBC mandary position otherwise and Haye doesn't have time to waste making Cruiser because of building muscle too soon.
The fight would have been bigger than the Mormeck one is England only. he will get a lot of respect from the Yanks if he goes to France and Knocks him out. I reckon Haye will fight for H/W title within 5 fights.
I never really got why, after being made mandatory challenger to Mormeck, Haye even considered taking a fight with enzo, and thus scuppering that fight (mormeck) by becoming WBO champion. Or was Macca even champ at that time, I am not sure, however having been interim for so long it was only a matter of time before he did become champ so it would have been a stupid move to face him
At heavyweight I have no doubt that Haye would butcher Enzo. Enzo looks flabby to me and he always comes in a few pounds under the cruiserweight limit, whereas Haye is ripped and lean at heavyweight weighing 217lbs. Haye too big, too powerful, too fast for Enzo.
It would of it was all set for the April undercard of Calzaghe vs Manfredo but then Warren changed the contract to have options. Macca fought Bobby Gunn instead for the WBO title
I think Haye just wanted to fight him. The first report about it I heard was that Haye wasn't interested in the WBO belt.
