[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GdjPtUG7Rs[/ame] I am sooooooo pumped for this fight!!!! I don't care what the oddsmakers say this is a tru 50/50 fight - styles make fights. Bute has the speed and skills but has questionable stamina. Froch for all people say has skills, heart and stamina in droves but lacks speed. less than one week to go!!!!!
Unfortunately i think Bute is going to crack that chin, i say unfortunately but im quite looking forward to seeing Bute in an acid test and providing he gets through it a mega showdown with Ward.
i will be shocked if Bute doesnt score a very clear victory. I think Bute will score a very wide UD with Froch maybe winning 2 rounds, but I wouldnt be shocked if Bute stopped Froch. Froch is nearly 35 and I think was a bit past his best when he first won his first world title, he is slower now and his workrate has dropped, plus he has been in so many tough fights, I think the end is nearing. If you look at the majority of world class SMWs over the last few years most seemed past their prime at Frochs age and many top ones retired by this time
While I agree with the context of what you're saying I thought Froch beat a very game Kessler plus when the chips are down he digs in deep - the Pascal fight being an example. I honestly think Froch could take Bute out of his fight and if he does that it will be interesting. I couldn't pick a winner if you put a gun to my head in truth....all I know is I don't think Froch is getting a fair shake.
Froch have an iron chin, but if Bute get his bodyshots going. I can see him stop Froch. On the other hand I can see Froch wear Bute down in the later rounds. If it the fight goes to the cards, I'm certain that Bute will win.
I always felt Froch had past his best wehn he fought Pascal after watching him early in his career when he moved better. I think Froch has aged since then and not for the better. I thought Kessler beat Froch, but either way that was a faded, unwell double vision suffering Kessler coming off a loss. I just cant see Froch doing well. Froch steps off after landing good punches rather than stepping on and I think unless he was to step on, Bute will just be a step ahead
I think a lot of boxing fans, particularly Americans.. Maybe because of the "robbery" of Dirrell, or maybe because of the Ward fight, but I agree that Froch isn't getting his fair shake. I think his best days are behind him, but only just behind him.. I think he still has enough to beat Bute, who is a great fighter, but I think the 50/50 nature of the fight will favour Froch because he has the heart of a lion and a chin of granite.
