There is a difference between a hw fight and a fight in the smaller weightclasses. Huge difference. Diminishing returns and so. I bet you know this and you are just clowning around. Right?
Dude they fought at 200lbs. Not so long ago crusier was 190lbs. If that was contested at 200lbs less than 10 years ago it would have been a heavyweight fight. Incase you didnt know light heavy in years gone by was just that LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHTS. There was no cruiser division. A difference of 20lbs is nothing for guys over the light heavy limit. Dont try and make the victory into anything more than what it is. If Erdei was serious about moving up to 200lbs he wouldnt have wasted his time with a guy like Fragomeni in the first place. If he wanted a real test why not face Captain Huck? O i know why because he made career off the WBO beating cans. NEXT!
:rofl Erdei stood toe to toe against a guy 20 pounds heavier than him who happened to be the WBC cruiserweight champ. An average one, I give you that but no bum like Golota is today either. Adamek get´s praise for his win but Erdei doesn´t? Double standards. I didn´t say Erdei should be a Top10 p4p but that he should be mentioned when p4p is discussed. Huge difference, boy. Just for you info. Erdei took the fight on 3 weeks notice because the unification fight with Cloud fell through :good
When did he say he was serious about moving up to 200lbs? He took this fight at a few weeks notice because it was available and better than anything on offer at LHW.
Ademeks win over Golota was wholly insignificant. (Other than for Poland of course..) Erdei's win was much better no question about that. BUT it must be put into a healthy perspective. And who you calling boy?
Fragomeni was top CW right now. It was a bit more a test than fighting old Tarver or Johnson who are way past their best in 2009. Currently Dawson have just slightly better resume than Erdei and in the head to head comparison Erdei seems to be tougher.
Somewhere between 3 and 7 would be fair. You can't argue with the "0" and belts in multiple weight classes.
But technically he didn't win while Erdei did so in this way Erdei is better than both Fragomeni and Wlodarczyk ... two top 10 CW at this time. If you want to count who is better CW than them Cunningham is the only one who may be mentioned. On paper none from other top CW are better than Fragomeni and Wlkodarczyk so Erdei put himself on paper at least in top5 CW.
It was gift for sure but the point is Edei didn't allow the outcome to be gifted to Fragoimeni while Wlodarczyk was not as much impressive overall in it so Erdei as a boxer seems to be better than Wlodarczyk
