Your opinion is that Erdei will win easy ChliJs but remember that Roy Jones Jr is still efectiv and old dog.

Jones is past his prime, but I dont think that he is totally shot. To be honest I would be shocked if jones beat anyone, from Cazlaghe to Kessler. He is the most gifted fighter we have ever seen. With that being said, his head isnt in boxig anymore. He is only looking for a way to go out on top, but at least he is going about it the right way. jones could likely get big title fights whenever he wants them, but i think that he knows he needs some work. He needs to become more skilled, he needs to throw jabs and work on his defense. The talent that he used as defense isnt there anymore. Not as fast as he once was, not as quick, not as powerful as he once was. All and all not as good as he once was, but maybe once or twice he could still be a good as he ever was.:good

Roy Jones Jr fighting in the light heavyweight division. Calzaghe and Kessler fighting in the super middleweight division. I think you are in trouble with divisions mate.

If Erdei were worth anything, we'd probably know it by now. And if he is, he should dominate the present version of Jones.

    Why is Roy still fighting?

Roy is still fast and could still be a major player - IF he could make SMW. LH may be ok, but Roy isn't naturally bigger than SMW. On the other hand, SMW is tougher and only Dawson seem really tough at LHW. Sure, there are some good fighters in Adamek and Erdei, but still.

as someone else on this thread has said
recently roy jones has even arranged to fight the kitchen sink and even that fell through.
lets wait and see a week before whatever fight is artranged what roy is going to do.

jones currently reminds me of the hamed rumors we heard time and time again , but in the end nothing ever came of it.

at this stage of his career, roy should either fight direct for a title or retire and enjoy his money.

RRJ should not be even fighting any more.
