This time he managed to defend his title without breaking sweat. His latest high profile opponent failed to make weight.
Erdei relly frustrstes me. He is a skilled fighter and he could upset anyone in the division.....the only problem is he isnt fighting anyone of substance and he really needs to pick up his quality of opposition.
Yeah....what the **** is it with these guys?Barashian only had to lose 1,8 lbs to make weigth and came 1,2 over. How the **** he couldn't do it?It's the end for him, anyway Garay already finished him.
yeah there isnt a bigger joke out there right now as far as a belt holder than Zolt...Sturm is RIGHT behind him.......
Erdei is a very relaxed guy who doesnt seem to have any ambitions as a fighter. He never calls out anyone, and he seems very satisfied with the situation. He is not the typical guy who hides from the elite in his division, he is just not interested. He has a nice wife and afaik 1 or 2 children, and seems in peace with himself. Well thats all good for him and congratulatons for having such a good life, but from a fan standpoint he is boring as hell as a champ.
good but but after 5 years, if sylvester is the biggest name he can brag about, thats not saying much
Erdei is useful in that he provides all the evidence you need to prove that the lineal belt is flawed just like all the others.
Well spoken, mate! I guess his promoter isnt that keen on spending big bucks for an oponent with a big name. Besides as one of the posters here on this thread has pointed out Erdei seems to be quite content with his present situation. Well,he has a good sense of humour and is a very likeable and sympathetic human being who was unable to hold back his tears when his friend and compatriot Balzsay dethroned Inkin. He is a national hero in Hungary. His compatriots love him. I like him, too.Nevertheless, his lack of ambition and desire to take on the best rivals out there makes me a little bit angry. Well,I cant really complain about today's opponent though.Barashian is a teak tough cookie who can bang and is a danger to a lot of fighters out there. He still claims that he was robbed in Argentine where he lost a point decision to Garay.
What an intelligent post, mate!!!!! That "classic" Euro bum is undefeated and has defended his world title quite a few times up to now.Not bad for a "classic"Euro bum,eh!!
Erdei has beaten Garay (the current WBA champ) twice. His victory over Gonzalez in 2004 was also impressive. Other than that pretty weak. But The Ring has him rated ahead of Wlad in their Top 100 ratings. That should tell you about The Ring Top 100 ratings.
'The 'Ring has no clue about fighters who are not american based, dont have an American passport, and dont speak english. Like those cannibals in Papua New Guinea who have no clue about the world outside their little jungle hamlet.
