Froch was in Montreal yesterday. He did appear in many TV shows. I saw him and Bute on TVA, TVAsports and RDS.

I don't agree on this one. Andrade was the same guy when he faced Bute: same chin, same style, same determination. I would say the end of the first fight against Bute has taken a part of his soul and the knock out did the rest.

    Top SMW regarding their Size:

    1 Andrade
    2 Bute
    3 Froch
    4 Pavlik
    5 Stevenson

Pavlik might be bigger than Froch...

Pavlik is bigger than Froch, and has about 10 pounds more mass come fight night.

As we discussed before, Froch's size is a mis conception.:thumbsup

Zuniga after his fight with Bute seen both Bute and Andrade at the locker-room and said the SMW might be to big for him, later moved up to LHW to fight smaller guys.

    First - the size
Bute and Froch are the same size. 6' 1-1.5" Difference if any is shoes or forehead length (Frochs!)
As Amatuer Bute started at Light Welter and finished and Middleweight. Where as Froch and Ward fought Middleweight and Light Heavy.
Funny is Dirrel started at Feather Weight but is the biggest of the 4 guys...

Another funny is that neither Bute and Ward have that
outstanding records. (who they've fought) I look at them both and don't see a bit of difference. Froch still has the best resume.

The after effects of this match is what is important.
IF Froch wins. It elevates Ward up to a point his pedestal will reek. If Bute wins on points - not much will change. He will have to face someone other than Ward in his next fight. Maybe Dirrell. IF he does KO Froch - I see Ward vacating 168 for 175. Which if that happens we will see Dirrell fight for that loose belt.

    persianprince

Ward said "I hope he wins his next fight so we can give the fans what they want"... and you think Ward will "make him" fight a guy like Dirrell in order to "further qualify" for a shot at his two belts?

As remote of a chance a Bute TKO Froch outcome is, you really think that would make Ward vacate out of the blue?! I think it would just get both Ward & Bute more money via fight hype, Las Vegas / NYC (MSG) type fight etc.

I guess I,ll always be a candid man. I was honest when I said the messy ending ruined Andrade though. He came so close to realize his dream...

Under 4 Rounds includes round 4 to Jackass, because round 4 ain't finished which automatically means less than 4 rounds, if you're going into the 5th than is not under anymore it become over 4 rounds or you imply that over 4 rounds means he reached the 4th and that's it.

Drozzy,I thought Jean Bedard was the owner of Interbox. Is Lucas a shareholder.I know he owns a couple of La Cage bars in Quebec but I thought La Cage was the majority shareholder of Interbox.

Gee. Raising a good point there. I thought Jean Bedard was the one Exec Prez of Interbox with Lucas as main owner given how he invested most of his career earnings in the company after he retired. La Cage being the majority shareholder makes sense however, so it might be a 60/40 or even 51/49 deal between La Cage and Lucas.

Anyhow, he has a major say in how Bute's career is managed. That I'm sure. :D
