They say this fight is in the works but Morales claimed that he's never heard anything.. He was supposed to fight Vincente Escobedo but backed out due to an injury.. Well im glad the fight fell apart cuz i think Escobedo would have beaten him....

    Can Morales beat Spadafora?

Terrible fight to bet on with these two unknowns at this point in their careers. However, I would give the edge to Spadafora because the fight would be in his weight class, and he has been in fewer hard fights.

If were talking about Rico, Morales knocks the glass-jawed fraud out in 2.

I havent seen Spadafora in awhile but if he is at 85 to 90% he will be all wrong for the past it Morales. I know Morales is still decent but only against certain oppositon, against the slick and Sweet Pea trained Spadafora he would have problems style wise.

I think Morales would have a better shot against the younger Escobedo and probably get more praise in beating him.

Horrible style match up for Morales. Spadafora beats him on points, handily, but I doubt this fight ever happens. Morales can make a lot more money facing guys like Barerra, JMM, or Khan then he can taking on Spadafora. Even at his peak Morales would have had trouble with a guy like Spadafora, but now he loses comfortably.
