Hamed is a Julian Jackson. Very powerful but would fall short against the greats everytime. Morales by late round knockout. This fight woulda happened when Morales was at his peak. Even when he was shot he gave a peak Pac all he could handle. Morales would have hurt Hamed like Barrera did then would go in and finish it off. He might get caught with a big shot and go down but he would just get up to finish him.
Not true at all, hamed got beat but he hadn't prepared well for the fight and as he was already very rich his intrest in boxing was not what it was or should have been.
Prime for prime I got Morales all the way. Hamed had power but that was it. Morales would have had him stumbling all over the place.
Hamed would KO Morales,,,,,The question you would have to ask yourself was,.....can Morales box a disciplined counter punching fight like Barrera. The answer is NO. The main reason Hamed was favourite against Barerra was because everyone thought Marco would come brawling.....he didnt ...he adapted. Morales isnt versatile.
who's fault is that? just because he didn't prepare well didn't mean that he wasn't in his prime - he just overlooked Barrera who just came off a loss. He was caught up in his own hype. A guy who's undefeated, a champion, and under 30, shouldn't be out of his prime. He was KO'in guys left and right (bums) and he thought that he could do the same to Barrera. (wrong) Morales has been in with better competition - he beat Barrera, and everyone who beat Barrera. Morales by KO
A win's a win and thats something that Hamed couldn't do - infact Barrera was coming off his loss to Morales, I believe.
Just because someone is in his 20's doesn't mean he is in his peak. Tyson for example reached his peak way before his late 20's. The Hamed who fought Barrera was nowhere near his best. Absolutely nowhere near.
what are you talking about? Hamed was undefeated ... right? He was a champion ... right? so why the **** did he fight like an amateur? He got picked apart and looked foolish in the process -- he didn't listen to his corner which led to him losing. He then had a farewell fight and retired. He didn't show a decline in speed or power so how was he not at his best. Fighting Barrera after talking so much **** about him shouldve been motivation enough to get the job done.
I didn't say it wasn't his fault but if you think a guy unintrested in boxing and not traing is in his prime well thats about all that has to be said.
Fight number three was ****ing close even though Morales started late he had Barrera hanging on for dear life. Second fight Morales won easily. In my eyes I had Morales winning all three.
