Thank you for the thread title this time. Good video, I agree with most of the points you make. Lubin by no means is a spent force and is an incredibly risky fight for Ramos. While Ramos seems to be packing pretty decent whiskers, I have seen him slightly troubled a time or two. While Lubin's chin is a little more questionable and he gets buzzed a little too much for my liking against guys he probably shouldn't be, I don't think Ramos hits quite as hard as Charlo or even Fundora. He's definitely a wear you down accumulation type fighter. So I don't think he'll be able to one and done Lubin, like Charlo did. Now, the other thing that must be taken into consideration is, that they're both southpaws. Which opens them both up to getting hit by shots and landing shots they usually can't land on most fighters. The few times Ramos has taken on fellow southpaws like Hernandez and Esteban Garcia, he's gotten them out of there. Whereas aside from Fundora, Lubin hasn't fought very many, and you can look at his match against Fundora as a mixed bag. While he got TKO'd, he came damned close to getting the job done himself. So if he can land the kind of shots that felled Fundora on Ramos consistently, I wouldn't rule out the upset. But, if I have to pick a winner, probably Ramos by late TKO, but I'm rooting for Lubin 100%.
No problem sorry for the misunderstanding last time. Your reply is dead on and gave me even more to think about. I'm excited for this one and I don't think enough people understand how good of a fight this is.
As a fan of the current Junior Middleweight division, I'm really looking forward to this fight. Notwithstanding his chin letting him down a couple of times, Lubin looks like a challenging & worthwhile opponent for anyone out there. I'd have preferred him as an opponent for Timmy than Mendoza tbh on account of what appears to me to be a superior skill level. Good test for the young bloke Ramos who I'm yet to see fight.
