He does. I hope whoever threw ice at him after the fight was roughly escorted out and hauled off to jail. Cunningham likely saved Lubin's life.

Lubin needs to give his check to a financial planner and consider retirement. Despite his incredible courage, he endured a career-ending beating. No amount of time will heal his psyche: last night's fight is the nightmares that PTSD is made of.

I hope so for Lubin's sake. It must've been hard for his dad and brothers to watch from ringside.

Doesn't change the fact that he was brought in to lose and he did. Every round. Every single round.

Bookies don't know everything and styles make fights.

Harrison was the money fighter and Garcia only fought outside of Spain once.

That may be slightly true. The good news is he'll never face another opponent that will tower over him like that. I understand that their weights are the same but they looked at least 3 divisions apart.

Couple times (whooped Ted Cheeseman in the UK three years or so back), but your points hold up nonetheless. The house matchmakers will have perceived Garcia as a game but quite beatable opponent for Harrison. Others were looking at Harrison as a guy on the slide and thinking a busy, durable fighter like Garcia would be too much for him at this stage.

    Totally agree.

It's funny how Ryan Garcia and Sebastian Fundora fought on different channels at the same time ...

And one network is "telling you" Garcia is a "big star" and you have to ignore what you're watching because the hopeless victim they went all the way to Ghana to handpick and brought to the US for Garcia to beat up on didn't fall down in a couple minutes like he was supposed to and made Garcia look boring ...

And on the other network Fundora is a becoming a star on his own with a brutal win that had social media in a stir.

The "big star" after last night was Fundora ... a very unique character and entertaining fighter.

Can't wait to watch him again. By the reviews he's gotten online today, that's the near universal opinion.

Are you saying the ref didnt give him 20 secs to recover? That was done on purpose. If it happened the other way i woulda said so aswell.

Well, his mouth guard came out, what should he have done? Not let him put it back in and get his jaw broken? You could also say Fundora was robbed a TKO win, since the ref was in his right to stop the fight when Lubin was being violently pounded on for almost 2 minutes straight. Also I doubt he was doing Sebastian any favors, Lubin was the A-side after all.
