I had it 6-6 114-112 Tug, but hard to see giving that to Breedy despite his effort. Mares is crap compared to Paulie.

He doesn't give me Broner vibes, but he is a bit arrogant and over confident that he's the best welterweight who haven't faced nobody yet. I would like to see him against Ugas!

Tug needs to be much busier if he ever wants to win a world title in the US.

I have a bad feeling for Lubin here, Gausha isn't great, but he's durable, and doesn't fight all that dissimilar from Charlo.

Okay... why the hell are they giving Ginsburg a 10 count? This is bull****. She has nothing to do with boxing, and if asked, she would probably be against it.

I thought Gausha was the man that KO'ed the current light middleweight champion of the world before I just checked. I guess that was Nate Gallimore, over 3 years ago now.......How did I get Gausha & Gallimore mixed up? Both names start with the letter G I guess.

I scored the Nyambayar/Breedy fight for Nyambayar, 7-5 rounds, 115-111 points. Obviously Nyambayar won the 1st and 2nd rounds each by 10-8 scores. After that, I gave Breedy rounds 3-6, Nyambayar rounds 7-10, Breedy round 11, and Nyambayar round 12. Breedy reacted very well after suffering the two early knockdowns, he expended a lot of energy to IMO bring the fight level through 6 rounds. Nyambayar flurry of power shots in first 30 seconds of Round 7 was enough to take that round. Round 8 was pretty quiet, but I thought Nyambayar edged it. Nyambayar was pretty solid throughout the 9th, good round for him. Round 10 I thought Nyambayar won the first half of it more than Breedy won the second half of it. Nyambayar pretty much took the 11th off, whereas Breedy was very busy, almost swarming, and yet he didn't land much, but it was enough to take the round. Nyambayar very efficient in the 12th, not throwing a whole lot, but landing some solid punches in combinations, the best of them in the first part of the round. So what we had in the second half of the fight was Nyambayar starting several rounds strong, landing solid power punches in combinations, several times visibly stinging Breedy, and then Breedy coming on later in those rounds, with a more swarming style that landed punches of lesser quality, many of them "cuffing" type shots. Nyambayar pretty clearly consistently landed the best shots in the second half of the fight to take the decision going away.

Don Trella's scorecard of 115-111 Breedy was inexcusable. His scorecard meant that he had Breedy winning nine of the last ten rounds of the fight, which is completely beyond comprehension. This is the sort of scorecard that should get him brought into the Connecticut Boxing Commission (I looked it up) to explain himself, and then get him suspended and put through mandated remedial training. Even the other two cards, 114-112 and 114-113, were too close IMO. I was so nervous when the last card was read "114-113", I thought some judge found an even round in there to swing the fight for Breedy. I don't know if these judges have short attention spans, and they better remembered Breedy's lesser work later in several of the rounds compared to Nyambayar's better work earlier in those rounds? The rounds were typically competitive, both fighters were reasonably active, Breedy threw ~100 more punches than Nyambayar did. But Nyambayar won this fight going away. Breedy however does deserve credit for fighting his way back into contention after his awful start.
