I saw this pop up yesterday on Tim Boxeo's schedule (which is mapped to my Google phone calendar) and thought about tuning in and/or doing a RBR, but then after thinking about it for a second reached the same conclusion as your latter one there for the main event. As for the co-feature, I'd only ever seen GGV once before, on the Bivol vs. Canelo undercard, and found him pretty underwhelming (he probably did not deserve to lose to Love, but it probably should have correctly been a draw and neither man distinguished themselves as superior to another - nor as somebody to go to great lengths to watch in the future).

So, a Thursday evening of porn and reading about the agrarian terrain aiding tactical maneuvers in Spartacus' revolt sounded the better option - and I have no regrets.

I've been a low key pretty big fan of Valenzuela or a while now, and picked him to upset Robbie Davies a few years back. He by turns can look excellent, or be involved in borefests. All depends on the opponent. So while yeah, I get what you're saying... I wish I'd have dodged all the matches leading up to the co-main. But I knew Yves was the style Gollaz could feast on and that he was out to impress, and goddamn, was that 30 second match beyond satisfying.

I also, due to Covid timewarp/brainmelt and my drastic reduction in boxing viewing the last few years, still have an image of Yves Ulysse stuck in my head where he is barely 30 and just recently schooled Claggett in their rematch. It's been four goddamn years, almost? I need to lie down.
