    Round 6

Ramírez is showing the right jab, sometimes pulling it, sometimes buzzing Ziyatdinov's left ear with it, keeping it as constant diversion and then blasting Ziyatdinov with a left hand when he isn't paying attention. Ramírez's lefts making Ziyatdinov blink as his head snaps back. Ziyatdinov leans in with his arms folded against his chin, anticipating a clinch as Ramírez tosses a lazy jab and left stepping in, and Ramírez bashes the bottom of his jaw with an upper-hook. Ramírez is tossing a 1-2 up top, jogging after Ziyatdinov. Another high 1-2, ducked by Ziyatdinov. Ramírez smiling and lobbing hooks at the body from medium-long range, falling in with them only to be shoved away by Ziyatdinov.

It's turning into an inside fight, Ramirez still managing to outwork him. Artur bizarrely does a pelvic thrust, bumping his pecker into the top of Ramirez's head as he was bent over.

    Round 7

Ramírez is allowing himself to get clinched and pushed down now as he jabs his way in. Ziyatdinov not throwing much back except a weak swatting left hook to avoid getting trapped on the ropes. Ramírez with quick scything lefts on the body behind the southpaw jab coming in, tied up again and again. Ziyatdinov puts his palm against Ramírez's nose and mouth and shoves him away by the face, ref doesn't say anything. Ziyatdinov ducking jabs and getting whacked on the body. Slower round.

Looks like that has negatively impacted him. Started to fade a bit, I doubt Ziyatdinov is good enough to capitalize though. This will definitely cost him against better competition unless he patches that issue up.

This is for the vacant WBA International light heavyweight title, previously held by Joshua Buatsi.

Artur's punches were more eye catching, although more volume from Ramirez.

Don't agree with this commentary. Ramirez has faded a bit but he's clearly winning these rounds.

    Round 8

Ziyatdinov sniping with the right hand, keeping his legs cemented more. Ramírez is tossing combos and then ducking in front of Ziyatdinov a few paces out, daring him to fire so he can show off his slipping ability. Ziyatdinov does peg him with a solid right hand but misses a slew of follow-ups. Ramírez pawing at the gloves of Ziyatdinov with both hands, feinting with jabs and looping rights, then abruptly switching to body shots.

    10-9 Ramírez, close

Matt Cassavant has given Ziyatdinov three rounds on the spin (the sixth, seventh, and eighth).

    Round 9

Ramírez is working the body with hooking flurries and then collapsing into clinches with Ziyatdinov. Holding with the left hand around Ramírez's waist, Ziyatdinov is punching down into his cheek with the right. Ramírez laughs about it as the ref separates them. Ramírez is pushing Ziyatdinov into the ropes, wrestling his arms down. Right hooks and looping lefts by Ramírez, putting Ziyatdinov into a corner. Clinch. Counter left hook by Ziyatdinov backing up. HARD 1-2 by Ramírez. Getting ugly and rough in there, lots of forearms in each other's faces. Ramírez is fluttering the right jab stepping in. Ziyatdinov hugs the ropes, tries a lead right but falls short.

Artur starts off very well, landing some nasty straight rights, but Ramirez closes the gap and nicks it with far heavier blows in the second half.
