Angel Chacon, the Puerto Rican, had never been KO`d until he was touched by the hands of God :yep (2nd round)
loved his fight with wayne mcculough,Morales is one of my favourite atg fighters. He was a complete boxer in every sense.I hope someone uploads his fight with zaragoza in good quality where he emerged as a great fighter
Has anyone seen his latest fights? I know that he's road weary but i'm curious if that short break he took helped him any. Considering the weight he's been working down from. The WBC did hook him up with a silver title.
Yeah watched his fight again Willie Limond ( the first pro to hurt and drop Khan) . To be fair Erik was sluggish and out boxed for th first 4 rounds, but then started to go to the body and won in the 6th ( i think). Erik needs to let it go , had an amazing career , but his body wont let him do the things he used to do.
that's what I'm watching right now too. They said Erik was feeling him out and stalking the guy but it looks like he's just not able to get off what he needs to.
I noticed in both his comeback fights tho that his timing got better as the fights went on, even the prime Morales used to feel fighters out at the start then dominate the middle & late rds... dont get me wrong, Im not saying he isnt past prime but we should at least let him get back into things while slowly uping his level of comp... after all, he is 2-0 vs naturally bigger men in Alfaro & Limond so he still might have one last chapter to write in the 140 lb division :bbb
Who was he supposed to use to get rid of the ringrust, Marquez ? He`s going about things the right way, if he doesnt succeed then at least he took it to the limit as usual but never say never, especially when a legend is involved, see Duran-Moore for details
