    KnuckleUp99, don't believe all the hype you see on youtube or read on espn.

    Had Cano won, would he be world champ? I doubt you've seen Matthysse in action.

    I like El Terrible, but anyone that knows and has seen his fights, they understand that that night's performance was nowhere near a world champ level. If you like the paper title and paper accomplishment, go about your day. Even the commentator brought this to his attention and he could not say much about it. :patsch

    Hype? EM is PROVEN homie. Do your homework. There's a difference between Cano...who is a young, green prospect beating an OLD, SHOT and past his PRIME Erik for a vacant world title than that same "SHOT, OLD, PAST HIS PRIME" legend resurrecting his seemingly dead career to win a record 4th title in as many weight classes.

    They said Big George was washed up and done when he decided to come back. And he beat a former cursier weight champion and first and only southpaw HW champion in Moorer. George was slower, less active but more intelligent..his experience was key along with his one punch POWER than he carried with him throughout the years...not to mention he had an iron beard.

    If EM wasn't near a world champions level he wouldn't have done so well in a very thin losing effort to one of the best jr Welters in the game... Marcos.

    Morales should of rightfully been a 4 weight division champ in August 4th 2007, but was robbed. Today, we should be saying that Morales is the first ever mexican to win a "title" in a 5th weight division.

    Well either way, MORALES IS GOD!!! :bowdown
