As some here in the "Classic Boxing" section may be aware, due to what probably looks like some shameless and constant plugging of my YouTube channel, I like to edit and post boxing match videos in ways that make them something that could be considered "new" versions. Basically, most channels that are posting full fights do so by downloading a fight from a different YouTube channel and then just reposting the exact same file/versions that are found all over the place and that is what I try and get away from doing. Recently I went through pretty much all of the Erik Morales fights I've already uploaded and re-encoded them into fullscreen versions, as well doing things with the original file that were intended to prevent YouTube from compressing and drastically lowering the video quality, as happened when I originally uploaded the files. I personally thought all of the fights I "fixed" looked obviously much better than they did when first posted. So I ended up with a total of nearly 50 files. 20 some fights some of which had multiple versions is how I ended up with that many files. So, I compiled all of these Morales fights into one playlist and outta nowhere thought to tweet the link of the playlist to Erik's official Twitter account. As I've said before, if someone were to ask me, Morales is, on most days of the week, my favorite fighter. So it really totally made my day when I realized Erik shared or retweeted my playlist link! Because I cannot figure out how to post a picture of the screenshot here is the link

Ha, even with Sanchez for a last name I've next to zero Spanish myself. I translated what I originally wrote in English into Spanish with Google. As I don't have the English statement I originally wrote, the following is just Google "reverse translating" the Spanish statement and it's the cause for what follows reading in a "clunky" manner
@ terrible100 A playlist of all your fights that I have edited to the best quality they can currently be in. All 4 versions of 1st Pac fight look amazing

Love Morales. Was a huge fan and still am. At 122 he was an absolute monster and for me that was his true prime. His wars with Chi and Ayala were so much plus all the huge ones we think of vs MAB and Pac. For some reason he's not mentioned much on this forum, but from 122-126 he can step in the ring with any ATG and give them fits and wins a lot of those match ups. I remeber when Manny was on a roll their first fight I was so certain Manny runs through him, nope, he boxed and outbrawled Manny in his prime. I'm still amazed by his comeback, he fought Maidana and Garcia and real tough fights in weight division he had no business being in and considering all the wars he still went the distance. How is this possible? He was that skilled and his toughness is beyond, great great chin on him.

One of my favorite post fights interviews with Kellerman (and I rarely care for any of them, really)
Kellerman: "...But what made you think you could win the fight, before the fight? Why did you want to fight Maidana??
    Morales:
'...Because I have something called dignity and heart."
Kellerman: "Boy do you ever! When your eye closed, basically in the first round, what were you thinking? How did you fight through that?"
Morales: "Con corazón y viva México! (With my heart, and long live Mexico!"")

Morales had a perfect jab-right cross. The way the right hand flows from his height and just above the opponents shoulder was beautiful to watch. Simple but it works. Morales is an example of boxing fundamentals. Substance over flash.
