Yep,with an almost Kantian display of Existentialism, manifesting itself, empirically, through the rational process of the categorical imperative.

It's interesting that so many of you are coming to his defense and excusing his classless behavior. I'm a huge fan of Morales as a fighter, but I think that it's not a reason to deny that he's acted like a dick more than a handful of times. Posing over a fighter who you just knocked out is messed up, I don't care who you are.

I'm a big fan of Duran, too. But I'm not blind to the fact that he never showed respect to his opponents. And out of the ring, he was capable of being a complete son of a *****.

Not rich but definitely well off.

Morales was pretty poor growing up so thus there was a huge class difference in terms of economic wealth.

Morales & Barrera had one of thee greatest trilogies of all time. Both of them are all time greats! However, Morales was a warrior to the end. Barrera has not been the warrior that the Mexican people loved in the last quarter of his career. Morales could murder a room full of nuns & the Mexican people would still love him! :nut:nut

I just rewatched the second fight on TIVO, I'm still not convinced that was an intentional late punch on the break in their second fight that wobbled Pac. MAB threw it right as the ref was coming in, not after the ref had his hands in there. It was close though. MAB does get dirty when he's frustrated or pissed off, no doubt about it.

Pac may have more class then either of them, but he doesn't have half the heart or he would have followed in their footsteps and taken on some young guns in his weight class, which he has NEVER done. He takes on HOF fighters past their prime and exploits THEIR glory. I expect him to fight ODLH and get massive props win or lose, then fight JMM again in 09 or 2010 when JMM is 37 or 38 and is finally diminished enough to be conclusively beaten by Pac, then he'll retire and the *******s will proclaim him GOAT and he will have never once taken on a great or even very good fighter in his prime. Not once. Total bull**** and a disrespect to what the big three of EM, MAB and JMM did during what I consider the greatest FW era in the history of boxing.

Barrera also gave Pacquiao a cheap shot in the rematch in the 11th on the break, when Pacquiao had him in some trouble.

Pacquiao fought Barrera in 2003, when MAB was only slightly past his prime (viewed at the time as being about as good as ever, only in a different way). Barrera was ranked as a top 3 p4per, and Pacquiao was viewed as being in over his head and the smaller guy moving up. Pacquiao was the one who gave Marquez his first big fight (no, Freddie Norwood does not count) in 2004.

That's 2 HOFers that Pacquiao fought in or near their primes.

Besides each other, what HOFers did Morales and Barrera fight in their primes?

88 year old Zaragoza? The smaller Ayala? Old Tapia?
