Erik Morales "I want JMM in May"

JMM would stop Morales before the bell for the 5th round. If Erik cannot beat David Diaz, there's no way he can hang with JMM these days. Marquez is maturing like a fine wine, the Morales of old is gone - especially if he can't make superfeather anymore, he has been dire both times he has fought at light. Marquez would blitz him. It's a bad idea.

 

Jmm would probably win but I think at 135 it will be a competitive fight like what JMM had with MAB.....If he can loose all that weight he's put on from inactivity and loose it the RIGHT way...I think he has a shot at upsetting JMM...call me crazy but I still believe in EM.

 

Grant it....It's not likely that EM wins, but one last great preformance from a future ATG isn't completely out of the question...it's happen before in this sport.

 

Damn Morales stay retired. JMM will probably knock him out if he fights him.

 

I am a big Erik Morales fan, and it was hard for me to watch him get Ko'd by Pacquiao twice. But that first fight and win against Pacquiao that was one of the most satisfying fights I had ever seen. Nobody thought he could do it after loosing to Barrera twice, but he did.

I dont want to see him get hurt, but a great champion always has one last great fight in him Erik is only 31 or 32 or something. If he wants to do it I am behind him even though i feel it might be to much at this time. I supported Tito when he fought Jones and I knew he would not win and Iwas worried for his health too but I was right there supporting him.

any time up until 2006 this woulda been a classic give&take war but now jmm dominates,but erik is a warrior so we'll see,if it happens id pay to see it.

this is a fight that's better suited as a mythical matchup rather than a real one at this point.
