ERIK MORALES is BACK!!!

    Erik Morales began training this week. The final details have yet to be clarified.
    However, his opponent will be former WBA titlist Jose Alfaro at 142 lbs. The fight will be televised on Box Latino. in March exact date tbd.

    He is an ATG, he better not ruin it.

    That sucks. I wish he would stay retired. He was always my favorite over Barerra & Marquez.

    if he is still game would be nice to see him against casamayor
    both past their prime but always exciting to watch

    Jose Alfrao isnt world class but hes probablly near the level of the David Diaz that Morales could not defeat in 2007. This fight at 142 just bugs me.

    Maybe the last two years allowed his body to heal and his drive to return? I think he is going to fight Barrera eventually.

    2 and half years isnt going to undo the damage thats already been done especially when hes just been sitting on the couch eating which obviously hes been doing coming to fight at 142.

    Jesus Christ, when will he just give it up. The man needs to sit down and do something else like shuffle board, he is beyond shot at this point. Perhaps him and Barrera, Holyfield and Botha, and Hopkins and Jones can put on a card together, named "after this we get to cash our social security checks".
