Erik Morales is far overrated.

Erik Morales is a goddamn glorified journeyman. He looked good in 2 fights and looked bad in 9. I give Amir Khan a hard time but he has never wanted to be KOed in front of an audience as much as Erik wanted it. Jesus Christ when Danny put him through those ropes and his eyes went back....
Before that Manny put him through the ringer by busting his face open. Maidana nearly beat his eye out.....

Barrera beat Morales in all 3 fights. He is overrated by many, but... I'm glad that he beat Pac. Beat his ass lol.

    Zaragoza
    Jones
    Barrera
    Pacquiao
    Cano
    Jesus Chavez
Arguably Diaz, which would have made him the first Mexican to win titles in 4 divisions

Plus memorable efforts against Danny Garcia and Marcos Maidana WAY past his prime.

And not a single bad fight between any of those.

He's an ATG and a timeless action hero. Sorry.

Journeymen don't become champions. Journeymen don't beat All Time Greats.

Unfortunately, All Time Greats do often fight past their prime and get shamefully beaten.

Learn your boxing and show respect fool.

He was an excellent fighter in his heyday.

I'm not so sure about ATG, but it all depends on what your interpretation of an ATG is. For me, and ATG is someone inside the top 50 all time, and Morales is definitely not one of the 50 greatest fighters ever IMO.

Great fighter, but not ATG. Same for Barrera. Great. Pac, ATG.
